With participation in our junior age groups increasing we’re asking for help from all our PPFC families with our new Boot Exchange Scheme. Growing feet can mean lots of expense, and that shiny pair of new boots from Sports Direct can start to pinch after only a few months and a handful of matches. This website editor can remember three pairs of boots for one son in just one season at Under 9s!
If you have football boots or astros that no longer fit your child, but you feel would still give a season or two’s ‘good service’ to someone else within the club we’d welcome any contributions to our Boot Exchange Scheme. So delve into the attic, garage or cupboard and hand in any unwanted boots to one of our coaches. The club will clean them up and put them in our ‘Boot Box’ to be made available to parents at Friday Night Training.
Your support of this initiative can reduce the cost of football just a little for our boys and keep them playing and having fun!
